A Legacy of Service and Safety in Firearms Training

With over 25 years dedicated to firearms tactics, training, and safety, I launched 2A Defender to bring my expertise directly to those seeking a professional and personalized approach to firearms instruction. My journey started as a U.S. Army combat veteran, followed by 21 years with the U.S. Border Patrol, where I developed a deep understanding of both technical skills and the importance of safe firearm handling in real-world situations. My extensive experience also includes six years as a less lethal instructor, teaching essential safety techniques to law enforcement personnel. Driven by a commitment to helping others build their skills with confidence and responsibility, I set out to create a training environment that emphasizes precision, control, and professionalism.  2A Defender was born out of a desire to provide a more tailored, one-on-one learning experience for students of all backgrounds and skill levels. Through this business, I aim to share not only the fundamentals of shooting but also the mindset and preparedness that responsible firearm ownership requires. Drawing on my NRA and USCCA certifications, I’m equipped to train students for various scenarios, including concealed carry and home defense. My goal is to offer each student the focused attention and support they need to become proficient and confident in their abilities, making 2A Defender a trusted partner in their journey toward responsible firearm use.
